Frequency Modulator
This circuit enhances the harmonic feild of electric signals as an analogue to a double coursed acoustic instrument. Centering the harmonic feild to a carfully tuned pitch creates bellish overtones and detuned phasing effects.
This effect is probably not going to be produced. I’ve noticed there are a lot of digital effects on the market and went about acheiving this effect in the analogue domain instead. The shring, I think, has a similar and less contrived sound than this circuit, so I might leave this behind.
Technica
The carrier signal is modulated by a voltage controlled triangle (dagger) oscillator with a discrete OTA. A very wide frequency spectrum to be tuned in without any differing in waveshape. Temperature induced pitch fluctuation is a side effect of the discrete components which sweetly resembles the detuning of an instrument as the wood expands and contracts and the pegs loosen as it is plucked and strummed.
